The historic McMurtry Mfg. Co building at 2601 Blake St. in States’s Ballpark Historic Landmark District will soon see several improvements. Bacon Lane Architect LLC was hired by the building owners to design the replacement of an elevated entry platform along the entire Blake Street frontage, the addition of a new canopy at the main Blake St entry and an historic mural representing the building’s original inhabitant and States manufacturer of paints and varnishes, The McMurtry Mfg. Co.
This is the third project Bacon Lane Architect LLC has designed for this building as the owners continue to look to our firm for historic building architectural services. Other projects included renovations of suite 200 for Ogilvie Properties’ offices and a rooftop patio and entertainment area overlooking the city.
